재능이 열심히 작동하지  않을 때 노력이 재능을 이긴다

There are plenty of people with talent. There are people born with some innate talents naturally over others. As someone enters higher levels of competition whether in sports, business, academics, or investing, talent is not enough. All your competition has some level of skills and abilities.  In the long term though in the race to success it’s the work that wins out. (노력하여 승리하다 즉 이겨내다)

재능이 있는 사람은 얼마든지 있다. 선천적으로 타고난 재능이 있는 사람이 있다 스포츠, 비즈니스, 학계, 투자 등 상위권 경쟁에 뛰어들 때  재능만으로는 부족하다. 당신의 모든 경쟁은 어느 정도의 기술과 능력을 가지고 있다. 장기적인  성공의 경주이기는 하지만 노력하여 승리하는 것이 일이다.

You may not be smarter, faster, better looking, or more talented than others but you can certainly outwork(노력하여 이겨내다) them. It is hard to beat someone with the passion to get up every morning and work for hours on their goals every day. No matter how they feel, they do the work, it doesn’t matter what the weather is outside, they work. They don’t let failure slow them down, it inspires them to work harder. People’s doubts and negativity doesn’t make them quit it lights a fire in them to prove the naysayers(반대자) wrong. They don’t quit when they’re tired they never stop.

당신은 다른 사람들보다 똑똑하거나, 빠르며, 더 잘 보이거나, 더 재능이 없을 수도 있지만, 당신은 확실히 그들을 능가할 수 있다. 매일 아침 일어나서 매일 목표를 향해 몇 시간씩 일하고 싶은 열정으로 누군가를 이기기는 힘들다. 그들이 어떻게 느끼든, 그들은 일을 한다, 바깥 날씨가 어떻든 상관없다, 그들은 일을 한다. 그들은 실패가 그들을 더디게 하지 않고, 더 열심히 일하도록 격려한다. 사람들의 의심과 부정성이 그들을 그만두게 하지는 않는다. 그것은 반대자들이 틀렸다는 것을 증명하기 위해 불을 밝힌다. 그들은 피곤할 때 그만두지 않는다.

When you invest in doing the work day after day that moves you toward your goals and you will start to benefit from the compounding of efforts. If you get 1% better every day or week that compounds into exponential growth over time. Momentum starts to move you toward your goals faster and faster as you create a positive feedback loop(둥근테). Winning and improving can give you the motivation to want more of it.

The ultimate winners in any field not only work hard but they put their effort into doing the right things that lead them to their goals. They learn from other’s successes and failures on what to do and what not to do. Work hard at not only doing both the right things and also at not doing the wrong things. Self control and self discipline also take work and are the primary skills in a winners tool box that keep them on their path. Seeing their ultimate goal is what lights their path and the reward that gives them energy to do the work. 

어떤 분야에서든 궁극적인 승자는 열심히 일할 뿐만 아니라 목표를 향해 이끄는 올바른 일을 하는데 노력을 기울인다. 그들은 무엇을 해야 하고 무엇을 하지 말아야 하는지에 대해 다른 사람의 성공과 실패를 통해 배운다. 옳은 일을 할 뿐만 아니라 나쁜 일을 하지 않을 때에도 열심히 일하라. 자기 통제와 자기 훈련은 또한 일을 하고, 그들을 그들의 길을 계속 가게 하는 승리자 도구 상자의 일차적인 기술이다. 그들의 궁극적인 목표를 보는 것은 그들의 길을 밝혀주는 것과 그들에게 그 일을 할 수 있는 에너지를 주는 보상이다.

Your biggest edge over your competition is the amount of work you do.

Understand the amount of work that will be required before you start a journey.

Talent may give you a headstart (유리한 출발)but it is your work that develops your skills and abilities. 

재능은 당신에게 유리한 출발을 줄 수 있지만 당신의 기술과 능력을 발전시키는 것은 당신의 일이다

For maximum results work smart and hard. 

최대한의 결과를 위해 똑똑하고 열심히 일한다.

You have to believe you are likely to succeed before you will be able to commit to the work involved.

관련된 일에 전념할 수 있으려면 먼저 자신이 성공할 가능성이 있다고 믿어야 한다.

The first step to accomplishing anything is to understand the cost of accomplishing your goal and then be willing to pay the price in effort, research, time, and work. 

무엇이든 성취하기 위한 첫 번째 단계는 목표를 달성하는 데 드는 비용을 이해한 다음 노력, 연구, 시간, 작업에서 기꺼이 대가를 지불하는 것이다.
