The Quasimodo chart pattern is a lesser known bearish chart formation in technical analysis. It has also been called the Over and Under chart pattern. This pattern can identify a high probability confluence area on a chart at a resistance zone that can lead to a reversal in an upswing. It is a signaling pattern that can confirm a trader’s bearish bias.

콰시모도 차트 패턴은 기술 분석에서 덜 알려진 약체 차트 형식이다. Over and Under chart pattern이라고도 한다. 이 패턴은 상승의 반전을 초래할 수 있는 저항 구역의 차트에서 높은 확률 혼합 영역을 식별할 수 있다. 거래자의 약자 편향을 확인할 수 있는 신호 패턴이다

The Quasimodo chart pattern is similar to the head and shoulders chart pattern but does not hold the support on the second test after the maximum peak or ‘head’ is formed. It is a type of malformed(기형적인) head and shoulders patterns which is where its name comes from the hunchback(곱추) character Quasimodo. It is a bearish reversal pattern signaling the end of a failed uptrend when the last rally fails at the same resistance zone as the first left ‘shoulder’. Shorting at this level present the best risk/reward ratio with a tight stop loss on a break and close above that previous resistance.

콰시모도 차트 패턴은 헤드 및 어깨 차트 패턴과 유사하지만 최대 피크 또는 '헤드'가 형성된 후 2차 테스트에서는 지지대를 잡지 않는다. 기형적인 머리와 어깨 패턴의 일종으로, 그 이름이 꼽추 캐릭터인 콰시모도에서 유래한 것이다. 첫 번째 좌익 '어깨'와 같은 저항 지역에서 마지막 랠리가 실패했을 때 실패한 상승세의 종말을 알리는 약세 반전 패턴이다. 이 수준에서 단락하는(줄이는 것)것  이전의 저항보다 높은 브레이크 및 클로즈 시 엄격한 정지 손실로 최상의 위험/보상 비율을 나타낸다

The Quasimodo pattern has a higher probability of success when other reversal signals have a confluence to the return to the first resistance level price or left shoulder aligns with an overbought reading or there is a bearish divergence between technical oscillators and a higher high in price action. For example, if the return to resistance aligns with a 70 RSI or price is higher but the RSI is lower that can be a confirmation of this pattern.

콰시모도 패턴은 다른 반전 신호가 첫 번째 저항 수준 가격으로의 회귀에 합치되거나 왼쪽 어깨와 지나치게 매수된  판독치 또는 기술적 오실레이터와 높은 가격 작용 사이의 약력 차이가 있을 때 성공 확률이 더 높다. 예를 들어, 저항으로의 복귀가 70 RSI와 일치하거나 가격이 더 높지만 RSI가 더 낮아서 이 패턴을 확인할 수 있는 경우.(성공의 확률이 더 높다)

Swing traders can identify supply and demand zones using this pattern for buying dips near previous support areas and selling into previous resistance zones. This pattern can be used to identify good risk/reward ratios near previous areas of support and resistance.

스윙 트레이더들은  이전 지원 지역 근처 딥을 구입하고 이전 저항 구역으로 판매하기 위하여  이 패턴을 이용하는 수요와 공급의 존을 식별할 수 있다. 이 패턴을 이전의 지지 및 저항 영역 근처에 양호한 위험/보상 비율을 식별하기 위하여 사용되어 질 수 있다.

The Quasimodo pattern is rare but can be a powerful way to identify important areas where buyers and sellers are located when it appears on a chart.

콰시모도 패턴은 드물지만 차트에 등장하면 구매자와 판매자가 위치한 중요한 영역을 파악하는 강력한 방법이 될 수 있다.

Like all chart patterns, the Quasimodo pattern is best used to create good risk/reward ratios and not predicting the future. A stop loss and trailing stop are good tools for managing the risk of being wrong. This pattern just creates probabilities, not certainties and trade management is what creates profitability over the long term.

모든 차트 패턴과 마찬가지로, 콰시모도 패턴은 좋은 위험/보상 비율을 만들고 미래를 예측하지 않는 데 가장 잘 사용된다. 정지 손실과 후행 정지는 잘못될 위험을 관리하기 위한 좋은 도구다. 이 패턴은 확률을 만들 뿐 확실성이 없고 거래관리가 장기적으로 수익성을 창출하는 것이다.
