Best Day to Buy Stocks(주식을 사기 가장 좋은 날)

Historically there has been a pattern of stocks selling off on Monday’s. The pattern has varied each year but it remains a pattern even over the past few years. This tendency has been so pronounced(언명하다 공언하다_ that a book was even written about it in 1987, “Don’t Sell Stocks on Monday” by Yale Hirsch. Each day of the week will vary but Monday tends to be a negative day in most years on average. 

역사적으로 월요일에 주식이 매도되는 패턴이 있었습니다. 패턴은 매년 바뀌었지만 지난 몇 년 동안에도 패턴으로 남아 있습니다. 이러한 경향은 1987년 Yale Hirsch의 "Don't Sell Stocks on Monday"라는 책에서 이에 대해 쓰여질 정도로 확연합니다. 요일마다 다르지만 월요일은 평균적으로 대부분의 해에 음수 날인 경향이 있습니다.

It’s been called the Monday Effect or the Weekend Effect for its bearish tendency. Many traders believe that the stock market regularly drops on Mondays. One theory is that bad news can be released over a two day weekend. Another theory is that investors’ are in a gloomy mood after the end of the weekend and it being time to get back to work, which appears to be the case many times in Monday morning trading.

In theory based on the price data there is still a slight edge in selling stocks on Friday to lock in weekly gains and buying stocks on Monday after they have sold into the negative. This doesn’t mean that a trader would make money every time they did this only that there is an edge with average gains being larger than the average losses over the long term. 

가격 데이터를 기반으로 한 이론상으로는 주간 이익을 확보하기 위해 금요일에 주식을 매도하고 마이너스로 매도한 후 월요일에 주식을 사는 데 약간의 우위가 있습니다. 이것은 거래자가 이것을 할 때마다 돈을 벌 수 있다는 것을 의미하지는 않습니다. 단지 장기적으로 평균 이익이 평균 손실보다 큰 우위가 있다는 것입니다.(금요일에는 이익확보를 위하여 매도하고 월요일에는 다시 산다면 외견상 금요일에 떨어지고 월요일에는 올라야 하는 데 거래량으로 봐서는 금요일에 가격이 떨어질만큼 거래량이 많지 않으며 또 월요일에는 매수를 능가할 만큼 매도가 많지 않다는 의미인 듯합니다  이것은 감정에 의하여 발생하는 거래량 보다  합리적인 거래량이 적어서 매수 매도효과는 적다는 의미인 것 같습니다 )

So it is probable that the best day of the week to buy stocks is Monday and the best day of the week to sell stocks is Friday. 

따라서 주식을 사기에 가장 좋은 요일은 월요일이고 주식을 팔기에 가장 좋은 요일은 금요일일 가능성이 큽니다.
